Parfait Bassalé is a consultant and singer-songwriter based in Olympia, WA, aiming to co-create a world where everyone is a friend. Originally from Benin Republic, with a Master’s in Conflict Resolution from Portland State University, Parfait has championed conflict resolution and belonging initiatives for federal and state agencies, non-profits, and private organizations across the U.S. and internationally. Previous partnerships include PEPFAR Tanzania, Clackamas County Behavioral Health Team, the City of Olympia, Washington State Department of Transportation, Puget Sound Partnership, Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County, Clackamas Community College, and more.



As Executive Diversity Officer at South Puget Sound Community College—recognized as a 2023 and 2024 ASPEN Top 10 Community College finalist—he led transformative equity programs that significantly narrowed achievement gaps for historically excluded students.


 A creative catalyst, Parfait blends music, storytelling, and reflective inquiry in his work, inspiring and equipping individuals and organizations to befriend “the Other” and build inclusive communities.
